Whitney Tilson’s Statement On Congestion Pricing

Today, the Trump administration has decided once again to attack New York City, this time promising to revoke our congestion pricing program.

Given the dysfunction and corruption right in front of our eyes, I wonder if Mayor Eric Adams will trade this program away to try and save his ass again.

As a strong supporter of congestion pricing, it’s a disaster that this tyrannical administration wants to gut a successful program that invests in our public transit system and helps make our streets safe.

I applaud the MTA for filing a lawsuit against the Trump administration, and believe that the law will prevail. We are not a monarchy, we are not beholden to a king.
