Whitney Tilson Slams Eric Adams: “Show Up For New Yorkers Or Resign”
Thursday, January 30, 2025
Democratic mayoral candidate Whitney Tilson delivered a blistering takedown of the constantly missing Eric Adams. The Tilson campaign plastered “MISSING” posters all over New York City– begging the Mayor to stop hiding in plain sight and help everyday New Yorkers.
“I’m glad that our missing in action posters worked– and Eric finally showed up to do his damn job,” said Whitney. “I’m fed up with how badly the career politicians are running this city. People are leaving because they can’t afford rent, don’t feel safe, and don’t trust our government. Meanwhile, Eric Adams is too busy being indicted and kissing Trump’s ass to get a pardon for crimes he committed to show up to work. What a disgrace. New Yorkers deserve better”
Whitney laid out the cold, hard facts:
-Adams treats this job like a side hustle. Whether he is partying at Zerobond or shmoozing it up in Turkey, he’s missing in action. We dont need a Mayor who’s dodging the press and ignoring the people he’s supposed to serve.
-Adams is under five indictments, with more coming. He’s not running this city—he’s running from the law.
-Felonies are up 52% in five years. Adams keeps lying—New York is not safer then it was 4 years ago.
-Rents are skyrocketing
The Plan to Fix It
Whitney vowed to clean house at City Hall and deliver real results:
• End street homelessness.
• Cut crime in half.
• Double affordable housing construction.
• Make New York the best city for small businesses.
A lifelong Democrat and political outsider, Whitney made it clear he’s the only real change candidate in the race. “I don’t owe a thing to special interests or corrupt donors. I’m here to fight for New Yorkers—and I won’t stop until we take this city back.”
“New York deserves better—and I’m the guy to deliver it.”
