Whitney Tilson Responds To Working Families Party Endorsements

Whitney Tilson, Democrat for mayor, responded on Monday to the New York Working Families Party’s endorsement of the mayoral campaigns of Zohran Mamdani, Adrienne Adams, Brad Lander, and Zellnor Myrie.

“I am proud that we chose not to seek the endorsement of the Working Families Party, an extreme left-wing group that supported defunding the police and canceling rent,” Tilson said. “Any candidate accepting the WFP endorsement is not serious about building a safer, more affordable, and more prosperous city. New York City Democrats have already rejected attacks on our police and calls for higher taxes at the ballot box. They will again in June.”
